Tasting Note

Initially restrained, the nose gradually opens to reveal pear, honeysuckle, spiced apple and quince, layered with waxy, floral nuances and increasing aromatic intensity. The palate is finely balanced and savoury, combining elegant freshness with a gently pithy texture, subtle richness and beautifully judged structure. With time, the wine broadens and gains depth and volume, revealing greater complexity while maintaining impressive precision, line and length. A refined, contemplative white blend with excellent gastronomic versatility and a persistent, savoury finish.

Product Notes

Yeringberg Marsanne Roussanne is a sophisticated and elegant white wine blend that reflects the heritage and craftsmanship of the Yarra Valley region. Made from a unique combination of Marsanne and Roussanne grapes, this wine showcases a beautiful balance of ripe tropical fruits, floral aromas, and a touch of minerality. The Marsanne adds richness and texture, while the Roussanne brings bright acidity and depth. On the palate, this wine offers a complex yet harmonious taste profile with notes of honeydew melon, white peach, and a hint of citrus zest. This wine is perfect for pairing with seafood, light pasta dishes, or simply enjoying on its own as a delightful aperitif.

About the Winery

eringberg is one of Australia’s historic family-owned wine estates, located in Coldstream in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, northeast of Melbourne. The estate was established in 1863 when Swiss-born Baron Frédéric-Guillaume de Pury purchased around 500 hectares and planted its first vineyards. By the late 19th century, Yeringberg had become one of Australia’s most celebrated wineries, winning medals in Australia and internationally. Wine production ceased in 1921 following the decline of the Australian wine market after the First World War, but the de Pury family revived the vineyard in 1969.
