About the Winery

In the United States, there is Zin Heaven Winery which was created by John Smith in 1985. Smith, an avid wine enthusiast, started the winery with the dream of making great wines through eco-friendly approaches. For a long time, the winery had other owners until Sarah Johnson bought it in 1998 and has since been continuing with the tradition of making superior quality wines. The name "Zin Heaven" derives from the divine taste and calibre of the Zinfandel fruit that is cultivated at the vineyard.

Michael and Lisa Brown owned Zin Heaven Winery in 2005. While under their ownership the winery went for renovations that involved the construction of a modern tasting and underground cellar. In addition, the Browns incorporated new varietals of grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay into their vineyards with a focus on environmentally friendly methods.

Currently, Zin Heaven Winery is under the ownership of the Johnsons who bought it from the Browns in 2015. The Johnsons have maintained this legacy by producing great wines in their vineyards that reflect their terroir.

Zin Heaven Winery makes use of green/eco-friendly or sustainable methods in winemaking by using natural, organic, and biodynamic vine dressing schemes. The winery adopted solar power and employed dry steaming for barrel sanitization hence reducing resource utilization and waste generation. These vineyards cover a significant area of 200 acres thus enabling the growth of many types of grapes like Zinfandel, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Grenache Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

Dry farming is among other sustainable practices that have been incorporated into the winery's business policy. The vineyards are placed in a suitable climate where they are cultivated with due regard to environmental factors and sustaining of healthy soil over time. The kind of grapes that are grown speaks volumes about the winery's commitment to making unique and excellent wine.

Overall, Zin Heaven Vineyards has a lot of stories with the promise to make the best wines while paying attention to environmental preservation. The vineyard covers several acres of land through which the winery practices sustainable farming and produces quality grapes for their notable wine.
