Tasting Note

This is a deep, dark and intensely-coloured wine that opens on the nose with concentrated aromas of cherry, dark plums and a touch of spice. The palate is structured and full-bodied with lovely tannins and chocolate cherry fruit characters. The finish is long and elegant.

Product Notes

Fontodi Case Via Syrah is a vintage wine that is a true testament to the premium wine-making skills of the Tuscan Chianti region. Made from carefully selected Syrah grapes, this wine boasts a rich bouquet of ripe berries, blackcurrant, and plum, giving it a distinct ruby red color. On the palate, it has a smooth, velvety texture with a beautifully balanced tannin structure. The finish is long and elegant, with flavors of tobacco and chocolate. Perfect to pair with red meat, aged cheese, or dark chocolate desserts, Fontodi Case Via Syrah is a must-try for any wine connoisseur looking for a bold and indulgent drinking experience.

About the Winery

Fontodi

The Italian wine brand of Fontodi is managed by the Manetti Family from 1968. This is the same family that is known for its wineries in the Chianti region. Fontodi is a scenic place located at the foothills of the beautiful hills in the Panzano region. Ever since the Manetti Family took over this place in 1968, they did a lot of restructuring work here to make it one of the finest wine-producing regions in Italy. The unique climate and soil quality of Panzano make it ideal for growing the Sangiovese grape varietal.
