Tasting Note

The 2025 Secateurs Chenin Blanc opens with flinty aromas layered with honey, orange blossom, and white stone fruit. On the palate, it is textured and saline, with a fine mineral thread and vibrant acidity. One of the hallmarks of the 2025 vintage is its lovely concentration, which is clearly expressed in the wine’s depth, balance, and lingering finish.

Product Notes

A.A. Badenhorst Secateurs Chenin Blanc is a delightful white wine hailing from the Western Cape region of South Africa. This wine showcases vibrant aromas of tropical fruits, citrus, and honeysuckle. On the palate, it offers a crisp and refreshing acidity, with flavors of ripe apple, pear, and a hint of minerality. The Secateurs Chenin Blanc is well-balanced, with a medium body and a lingering finish. It is a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes, from light salads to seafood and poultry. This Chenin Blanc is a true reflection of the Badenhorst family's commitment to producing high-quality wines with a unique South African character.
