Tasting Note

A big-structured wine but with very noble tannins. Statuesque but finely-chiselled. Intensely salty bramble, black cherry and cassis fruit. Explosive, large-framed flavours with huge depth

Product Notes

André Perret Saint-Joseph Les Grisières is a rich and flavorful red wine with a complex bouquet of black fruits, spices, and mineral notes. This wine is made from 100% Syrah grapes grown in the Saint-Joseph appellation of the Northern Rhone Valley in France. The grapes are handpicked and carefully sorted before undergoing traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 12 months in oak barrels, which adds complexity, structure, and depth to the final product. This medium-bodied wine is best served slightly chilled and pairs well with grilled meats, game, and strong cheeses. It is a true representation of the best of the Northern Rhone Valley.

About the Winery

André Perret

The story of André Perret remains closely knit with the life of its owner, André Perret. André studied biology and graduated in the same field. However, throughout his education, his passion and love for growing grapevines did not leave him. This infatuation compelled him to return to his home village and 1982 and take over his father’s business.
