About the Winery

Anselmi

The company was established in 1948 by Almerino Anselmi as a large-scale winery that bottled and sold purchased wines, without owning land or vineyards. In 1975, his son Roberto Anselmi returned home after completing his university studies, ready to dedicate himself to what would become his life’s work.Roberto’s grandfather had been a highly skilled winemaker from the 1920s until 1945. However, the economic crisis linked to the war forced him to sell all of his vineyards.Determined to restore his family’s legacy, Roberto dreamed of reclaiming his grandfather’s land and building a winery focused on exceptional quality.
