Tasting Note

Rich ruby tending towards garnet in colour. Rich and complex to the nose, with notes of cherries, wild berry jam, candied citrus peel and spices. To the taste it’s an amazing wine, where it begins sweet and then gives way to a fresh finish with an aromatic persistence to the nose.

Product Notes

Antonelli San Marco Passito Sagrantino di Montefalco is a luxurious and prestigious wine from the renowned Italian region of Montefalco. Made from the rare Sagrantino grape variety, this passito-style wine is a true expression of the land it comes from. With a deep ruby color and intense aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, and dried flowers, it captivates the senses from the first sip. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish. This exceptional wine is perfect for special occasions and pairs beautifully with rich dishes like lamb, game meats, and aged cheeses.

About the Winery

Antonelli San Marco

Antonelli San Marco is a historic family-owned estate located in the heart of Montefalco, Umbria, a region often described as the “green heart” of Italy. The estate dates back to the late 19th century when it was purchased by Francesco Antonelli, a lawyer from Spoleto with a passion for agriculture and winemaking. Today, the winery remains under the stewardship of the Antonelli family, who continue to uphold the estate’s legacy of quality and respect for the land.
