Tasting Note

From the heart of Serralunga d’Alba, with all its complexity. Intense aromas, black fruits, licorice and spices in the typical Serralunga style. Energetic. The tannins frame the structure giving density and deepness to the wine. Conclusion with a persistent sapidity. Mineral, earthy, salty. Impressive.

Product Notes

Azelia Barolo Margheria is a bold and complex red wine hailing from the Piedmont region of Italy. Known for its deep ruby red color, this wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown on the Margheria vineyard. Rich aromas of black cherry, tobacco, and leather greet the nose, while on the palate, notes of licorice, cinnamon, and savory herbs burst forth. The tannins are firm but well-structured, providing a long and satisfying finish. Azelia Barolo Margheria is a wine that pairs well with hearty meals like roasted meats, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses, and will only improve with age.
