Tasting Note

Barossa Boy’s flagship wine is crafted in extremely limited quantities from the finest parcels of Shiraz sourced from 80-year-old vines. The bouquet reveals rich aromas of mocha and ripe black fruit, while the palate is layered with crushed blackberries and fresh plum flavours. Extended maturation for 22 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels brings added complexity, unveiling notes of sweet spice, dark chocolate and supple leather. Powerful yet refined, it delivers remarkable depth, concentration and a long, lingering finish.

Product Notes

Barossa Boy Lifeblood Shiraz is a bold and robust red wine that embodies the spirit and essence of the famous Barossa Valley in South Australia. This wine is crafted from old vine Shiraz grapes, resulting in a rich and concentrated flavor profile. Notes of dark berries, spices, and dark chocolate entice the senses with each sip. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a long, luscious finish. Barossa Boy Lifeblood Shiraz is the perfect companion for hearty meat dishes or enjoyed on its own, making it a true gem in the world of Australian red wines.
