Tasting Note

Layered and elegant, with crisp apricot, yellow peach and candied citrus leading to freshly-baked brioche. A vibrant streak of acidity underpins a well-sculpted structure, and a energy-laden, richly-flavoured finish provides a tangy, sensory tautness.

Product Notes

Berlucchi 61 Nature Franciacorta is a sparkling wine from the Lombardy region of Italy, made using the traditional method of bottle fermentation. It is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, with a pure and elegant taste characterized by citrus fruit notes and a floral aroma. This wine is unique due to its zero dosage, meaning that no sugar is added during the disgorgement process, resulting in a dry and crisp finish. Berlucchi 61 Nature Franciacorta is a perfect representation of the essence of Franciacorta, a land of vineyards, hills, and tradition, where wine-making has been perfected over centuries.

About the Winery

Berlucchi

The history and story of Berlucchi remain intricately linked with Franco Ziliani and Guido Berlucchi. The venture for the winery began in 1955 when Franco Ziliani, a young yet skilled enologist, decided to make a name for himself and set out to consult some of the most renowned wine producers and estates at that time. He presented the other parties with an intriguing question, asking them what would happen if they were to prepare and sell sparkling wines in a manner and way the French adopt.
