Tasting Note

The 2023 Cornish Point Pinot Noir is perfumed and intense, with dried garden roses, blood plum, redcurrant and licorice. In the mouth, the wine is elegant initially, and as the tannins gather momentum across the palate, it becomes an altogether more powerful experience. This is an impressive wine, as usual, shaped by a firm splay of tannin that feels supple, pliable and granular. 14% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. - Erin Larkin, Robert Parker Wine Advocate 93/100

About the Winery

Felton Road

Felton Road, in New Zealand, is one of the few wineries that give a lot of focus to the lands where the vines are grown. Bannockburn, located in Central Otago, was one of the first places identified by the founders and the winemaking team to set up their vineyards. Felton Road makers understood the potential of this place because it was one of the warmest in this region.
