Tasting Note

The Bodega Cerrón La Servil 2023 is a vibrant Monastrell from Jumilla, Spain, showing a bright ruby color and an expressive nose of cherries, raspberries, and subtle vanilla from 12 months in large French oak foudres. On the palate, it is structured yet elegant, with balanced acidity, smooth tannins, and a mineral backbone reflecting its high-altitude calcareous soils. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a lingering fruity impression, capturing both freshness and complexity in a polished, approachable style.

About the Winery

Bodega Cerrón

Bodega Cerrón is a family-owned winery located in Fuente-Álamo, in the province of Albacete, within the Jumilla Denomination of Origin (DO) in southeastern Spain. The Cerrón family has been cultivating vineyards in the region since 1895, initially selling their Monastrell grapes to local cooperatives. In 2011, the family decided to establish their own winery, focusing on producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of their high-altitude vineyards.
