Product Notes

Bodegas Artuke Finca de los Locos is a Spanish red wine that hails from the Rioja Alavesa region, produced by Bodegas Artuke winery. It is made from 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano, all of which are hand-harvested from old vines that are over 60 years old. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for around 18 months which imparts a smooth and velvety texture to the drink. Deep ruby in colour and offering an intense aroma of red berries, it has a full-bodied flavour characterised by notes of blackcurrant, plum and spice. Bodegas Artuke Finca de los Locos is a wine that perfectly reflects the richness and freshness of the Rioja Alavesa region.

Arturo and kike were used to form the acronym Artuke. This is the DE Miguel Blanco family winery. Arturo and kike and the 5th generation of this wine growing family in la rioja Alaves Spain. The two are brothers and their father, Roberto de Miguel, decided to create vintage wine in 1991 to get more from his vineyards.
