Dark bronze colour with golden rim. Pungent nutty aromas with a smoky wood background. Rich flavours of bitter chocolate, walnuts and baked chestnuts. This Oloroso wine has an intense, concentrated aftertaste, lightened by a tangy acidity.
Product Notes
Bodegas Lustau Oloroso Don Nuno Dry is a fortified wine from Spain, specifically from the Jerez region. Made from Palomino Fino grape variety, it is aged for 12 years in American oak barrels through the traditional solera system. This dry sherry boasts an intense amber color with a complex aroma of dried fruit, raisins, walnuts, and spices that is echoed on the palate. It has a smooth and rich texture with a distinct hint of salinity that lingers on the finish. It is an excellent wine to pair with savory and salty dishes such as cured meat, aged cheese, and tapas.
