Tasting Note

An extraordinary old Fino aged for around 15 years under flor, giving remarkable depth and complexity. Deep golden and intensely aromatic, with yeast, toasted almond, hazelnut, dried citrus and saline mineral notes. Bone-dry, concentrated and beautifully textured, with vibrant salinity and an exceptionally long, savoury finish.

Product Notes

Emilio Hidalgo La Panesa Especial Fino wine is a luxurious and refined Spanish wine that embodies the rich and storied history of the Jerez region. This exceptional Fino is carefully crafted using the traditional solera system, resulting in a pale golden hue and complex, nuanced flavors. The palate is greeted with notes of roasted nuts, dried fruits, and a subtle salinity, creating a harmonious balance of flavors. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of elegance and finesse. Emilio Hidalgo La Panesa Especial Fino wine is a true masterpiece, perfect for savoring on special occasions or as a sophisticated aperitif.

About the Winery

Founded in 1874, Bodegas Emilio Hidalgo is one of the historic names of Jerez de la Frontera, in Andalucía, southern Spain. The bodega remains a family-owned business and is now run by the fifth generation of the Hidalgo family. From its origins as a small family operation, the house has developed an international reputation for producing traditional, long-aged Sherries while maintaining a distinctly independent approach to winemaking.
