Tasting Note

The wine has a unique character compared to other types of Sauvignon; this is probably due to the different genetics of the grapevine. When the wine is young the aroma is of white pulp fruit, mainly peach, fragrance that tends towards spicier tones such as blackcurrant. With aging it tends towards more mineral tones. It shows great aging potential.

Product Notes

Borgo Del Tiglio Sauvignon Blanc is a complex and sophisticated white wine that delights the senses with its refined aromas and elegant flavors. This premium Italian wine comes from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy, where vines are grown on the sunny hillsides facing the Adriatic Sea. The wine offers an intense bouquet of grapefruit, lime, and tropical fruits, with a hint of mineral notes that adds depth and complexity. The taste is fresh and crisp, with flavors of white peach, lemon, and green apple balanced by a lively acidity. The combination of fruit and acidity makes this wine a perfect match with seafood, sushi, or creamy pastas. Borgo Del Tiglio Sauvignon Blanc is a rich and complex wine that should be savored slowly to enjoy its full potential.
