Tasting Note

Intense ruby red with garnet tinges, offering a clear, characteristic and persistent bouquet of wild berries and violet, layered with subtle notes of musk, spices and aromatic wood, followed by hints of vanilla, jam and balsamic nuances. Dry, warm and well-structured on the palate, with impressive robustness and complexity balanced by soft, elegant tannins and well-integrated alcohol. The finish is pleasantly persistent, leaving a refined and harmonious impression.

Product Notes

Bottega Brunello di Montalcino DOCG wine is a premium Italian red wine known for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the renowned Montalcino region of Tuscany, this wine is aged for a minimum of 2 years in oak barrels, followed by an additional 4 months in bottle before release. The result is a deep garnet colored wine with complex aromas of ripe dark fruits, spices, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish. Bottega Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is best enjoyed with hearty meat dishes or aged cheeses.

About the Winery

Bottega

The premium Italian wine brand was launched as early as 1635. Andrea, considered as the forefather of the Bottega brand, cultivated the first vine in the scenic area of Refrontolo and there was no looking back for the brand after that. Many years later, the Bottega family started taking the company to great heights and held the distinction of bringing many innovations in the wine market- the most famous of them being the introduction of the first ever monovariety grappa.
