Product Notes

The Brewer-Clifton Machado Pinot Noir is an exceptional wine. This Pinot Noir is made from grapes grown in the Santa Rita Hills region of California, which is known for producing some of the best Pinot Noirs in the world. The wine is fermented in small lots and aged in French oak barrels for 16 months, giving it a complex and subtle flavor profile. The Machado Pinot Noir is rich and elegant on the palate, with notes of black cherry, raspberry, and a hint of spice. The wine has a long and silky finish that lingers on the palate, leaving you wanting more. The Brewer-Clifton Machado Pinot Noir is the perfect wine to pair with grilled meats or hearty stews, making it a versatile and exquisite addition to any wine collection.

About the Winery

Brewer - Clifton

The project and history of Brewer – Clifton remain associated with the story and meeting of its founders, Steve Clifton and Greg Brewer. The two met in 1995 while working on the Santa Barbara Vintners’ Association’s committee meeting. At that time, they remained employed at production jobs at Beckmen and Sunstone, respectively. It allowed Steve and Greg to develop an immediate and intimate friendship that ultimately led to the establishment of Brewer – Clifton after one year.
