Planted in 1975 and with a northern exposure, Reed is always the last vineyard harvested on Mt. Harlan each year, yielding a wine with lovely energy and fascinating aromatic complexity. About the Winery

Calera was founded in 1975 by Josh Jensen in California’s Gabilan Mountains on the Central Coast. Inspired by Burgundy’s limestone-rich vineyards, Jensen sought to prove that California could produce world-class, terroir-driven Pinot Noir. Over the past four decades, Calera has become internationally respected for elegant, complex wines that showcase the Central Coast terroir.
