Château Certan De May Pomerol is a French wine produced in the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux. It is renowned for its exceptional quality and rich history that dates back to the 18th century. The estate is situated in the heart of the Pomerol plateau and covers 14 hectares of vineyards that are planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is a blend of these three grape varieties which produce a complex and bold flavor profile. Its aromatic bouquet boasts notes of red fruits, licorice, and spices, while the palate is tannic and full-bodied with a long finish. Château Certan De May Pomerol is a wine of immense power, elegance, and finesse that fully expresses the uniqueness of the Pomerol terroir.

Tasting Notes

Deep garnet-purple in color, the wine charges out of the gate with bold expressions of preserved plums, blueberry compote and redcurrant jelly plus nuances of pencil shavings, forest floor and truffles. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers elegantly played black fruits and earthy accents with a lovely frame of fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with a quiet intensity
