Tasting Note

Pale bright mandarin colour with a delicate aroma of raspberries and soft red berry fruits with citrus notes of tangerine and caramelised orange. There is also vanilla spice from the oak and all these characters follow through to the palate with flavours of spiced orange, raspberries and a hint of vanilla from the barrel ageing. As the wine evolves in the bottle, its aromatic complexity will develop and enhance further.

Product Notes

Chateau Musar Rosé is a delicately crafted wine that showcases the best of Lebanon's winemaking traditions. This wine is produced with a mix of grapes, including Cinsault, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Rolle, that are carefully selected from the Bekaa Valley. The result is a dry Rosé with a delicate salmon pink hue and aromas of strawberries, citrus fruits and white flowers. It has great acidity and a refreshing minerality on the palate, with a long, smooth finish that is full of fruit and floral notes. Chateau Musar Rosé is a perfect match for Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, and grilled meats, making it a versatile wine for any occasion.

About the Winery

Chateau Musar

The Lebanon-based family winery, Chateau Musar was established in 1930. Gaston Hochar set up this winery at a place called Ghazir, located within a short distance from the Lebanese capital city of Beirut.
