Tasting Note

This ambitious rosé offers a precise and intense aromatic expression. It reveals lovely floral notes (lily) complemented by red fruits (blackcurrant bud) and citrus (mandarin). On the palate, it is a dry wine with a fresh and fruity attack. A delightful, flavourful finish calls for delicate and sun-drenched cuisine.

Product Notes

Chateau Roubine Lion & Dragon Cru Classé Rosé wine is a luxurious and exclusive blend that captures the essence of Provence in every sip. This highly acclaimed wine showcases the perfect balance of Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah grapes, resulting in a vibrant and refreshing rosé with hints of red fruits, citrus zest, and delicate floral notes. The wine's elegant pale pink color and crisp acidity make it the perfect companion for warm summer days or sophisticated soirées. With a long and prestigious history dating back to the 14th century, Chateau Roubine's Lion & Dragon Cru Classé Rosé is a true expression of French winemaking excellence.

About the Winery

Located between Lorgues and Draguignan in the heart of Provence, Château Roubine is one of the oldest wine estates in France, with a history dating back to the 14th century when it was owned by the Knights Templar before passing to the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. The estate has long been recognised for the quality of its vineyards and was among the select properties awarded Cru Classé status in the Côtes de Provence classification of 1955. Since 1994, the château has been owned by Valérie Rousselle, whose investment and vision have transformed the property into one of Provence's leading wine producers while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainable and organic viticulture.
