About Chateau Roubine

Located between Lorgues and Draguignan in the heart of Provence, Château Roubine is one of the oldest wine estates in France, with a history dating back to the 14th century when it was owned by the Knights Templar before passing to the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. The estate has long been recognised for the quality of its vineyards and was among the select properties awarded Cru Classé status in the Côtes de Provence classification of 1955. Since 1994, the château has been owned by Valérie Rousselle, whose investment and vision have transformed the property into one of Provence's leading wine producers while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainable and organic viticulture.

Today, the estate comprises around 130 hectares, including 72 hectares of vineyards planted to 13 grape varieties on clay-limestone soils. Château Roubine is particularly renowned for its elegant rosé wines, which capture the freshness and character of Provence, while also producing expressive white and red wines. Certified organic since 2017 and now practicing biodynamic farming, the estate combines centuries of heritage with modern winemaking to craft wines that are both refined and distinctly representative of their Provençal terroir.
