Product Notes

Cousiño Macul Antiguas Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium red wine that showcases the remarkable quality of Chilean winemaking. Produced from the finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it boasts a deep, dark color and complex aromas of red fruits, leather, and tobacco. The palate is equally impressive, with rich, velvety tannins and notes of black cherry, cassis, and vanilla. The wine has been aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, adding layers of depth and complexity. It pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, charcuterie, and aged cheeses. A true delight for connoisseurs of fine wine.

About the Winery

Cousiño Macul

Cousiño Macul’s history dates back to 1760. However, it was not until the winery’s founder Luis Cousiño obtained the 1000-hectare land of Hacienda Macul in Chile in 1856 that its original tale began. Since then, his winemaking legacy started to acquire a fundamental shape. It gradually grew to the state it is today. In recent times, Cousiño Macul is the only winery with a 19th-century origin that remains under the possession of its founding family.
