Tasting Note

The Cullen Legacy Series Sauvignon Blanc 2019 offers a complex, mineral, and highly aromatic profile with a vibrant acidity and a long, nuanced finish. Reviewers note it has layers of both fruit and earthy/herbal notes, setting it apart from more typical Sauvignon Blancs.

Product Notes

The Cullen Legacy Series Sauvignon Blanc is a premium wine that exudes elegance and refinement. This wine is crafted from the finest Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the renowned Margaret River region of Western Australia, where the perfect climate and soil conditions produce exceptional fruit. The wine offers a vibrant bouquet of citrus, tropical fruits, and fresh herbs, with a hint of minerality. On the palate, it is crisp, clean, and refreshing, with a subtle acidity that balances the fruit flavors beautifully. This wine is perfect for pairing with seafood, salads, or simply enjoying on its own as a refreshing aperitif.

About the Winery

Cullen

It was during 1966 that Diana and Kevin Cullen realised the full potential of their vine-growing property located in Wilyabrup property located near Margaret River in Western Australia. The climate and soil quality of the place was so good that it had the potential to produce Bordeaux-quality wines.  Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling and Gewurztraminer were the first grape varietals planted on 17 acres of these vineyards in 1971.
