Tasting Note

This wine with its deep garnet red colour with black gleams offers a nose of black fruit and spice. The tannins are soft and the aromas in a register of cooked red fruit. Can be consumed now in the splendour of its fruit, or in one or two years for even greater harmony

Product Notes

Domaine Charton Mercurey Vieilles Vignes is a special wine that comes from one of the premier regions of Burgundy, France. Made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on old vines, this wine boasts a deep ruby color and an intense bouquet of red fruits, spices, and earthy notes. On the palate, it is full and rich, with firm tannins and a long finish. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12-15 months, which adds complexity and structure to the final product. This wine pairs excellently with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and other hearty dishes. Domaine Charton Mercurey Vieilles Vignes is a stunning wine that truly embodies the sophistication and depth of Burgundy winemaking.
