Tasting Note

The colour of the Cuvee Jadis delights being blackish-purple, almost opaque. Ripe plum and black-cherry scents dominate a fruit-forward aroma, but there’s plenty of earth to please the truffle-hounds. Leather and pleasant barnyard notes add complexity. Full-bodied, juicy and tart flavours, fresh black fruit and a hint of dark chocolate, nicely structured by crisp acidity; smooth tannins emerge as a cleansing astringency in a long finish, with a distinct whiff of fresh herbs and earthy grace notes that mirror the nose.

Product Notes

Domaine Leon Barral Faugeres 'Jadis' is an exceptional red wine produced in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France by the Domaine Leon Barral winery. This wine is made from carefully selected grapes grown in the Faugeres appellation, which is known for producing wines of great depth and intensity. 'Jadis' is made predominantly from the Mourvèdre grape, which gives the wine its rich and complex flavor profile. It has a deep, garnet appearance and offers aromas of dark fruit and cassis with a hint of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and bold, with a long and satisfying finish. This wine is a testament to the skill and expertise of the winemakers at Domaine Leon Barral and is a must-try for any serious wine lover.
