Tasting Note

This vineyard, the pride of our domaine, is in excellent health and yields very rich wines whose character is reminiscent of Morgeot but needing longer to develop. They are rounder, meaty and have a slightly mineral, but long, finish in the mouth. This wine has its place among the best of the 1er crus. Fabulous after five years, it has a laying-down potential of 15 to 20 years, or even longer, depending on vintage.

Product Notes

Domaine Thomas Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Vide Bourse' is an exceptional white wine hailing from the prestigious Burgundy region of France. This premier cru cuvée is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, resulting in a rich and complex wine with a beautiful golden hue. The nose is characterized by floral and citrus notes, while the palate is filled with flavors of honey, toasted nuts, and a subtle mineral finish. The well-balanced acidity and silky texture make for a wine that is both elegant and approachable. This is a wine that is sure to impress the most discerning of palates.
