Product Notes

Domenico Clerico Barolo Pajana is a prestigious Italian wine renowned for its elegance and complexity. Crafted in the Barolo region of Piedmont, this exceptional wine is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Pajana vineyard, known for its high altitude and optimal sunlight exposure. The wine boasts a deep garnet color and intense aromas of dark cherries, violets, and tobacco. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of ripe fruit, earthy notes, and well-integrated tannins. Domenico Clerico Barolo Pajana is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of two years, resulting in a sophisticated and refined wine that is sure to impress even the most discerning connoisseurs.

About the Winery

Domenico Clerico

Domenico Clerico is one of the legendary names of Barolo, a winery that helped shape the modern identity of the region. The estate is based in Monforte d’Alba, in the heart of Piedmont’s Langhe hills, and was founded in the late 1970s when Domenico “Mimmo” Clerico took over a small family farm. Instead of focusing on bulk wine, he set out to express the full potential of Monforte’s vineyards, gradually acquiring parcels in some of the area’s most prized crus, including Ginestra, Pajana, and Mosconi.
