Tasting Note

Intense cherry colour with purple hints. On the nose, fruit sensations (blackberries, blueberries, black fruits) dominate the perfectly integrated tones conveyed by aging in wood barrels that provide sensations of cedar and tobacco. It is serious and lively on the mouth with power and a great balance; broad and flavoursome combining fruity freshness and the elegant structure of a wine that is suitable for aging.

Product Notes

Finca Allende Rioja Tinto is a deep, complex wine with a bright crimson hue. Bursting with succulent red and black fruit, it has a nose that is both floral and spicy, with hints of cinnamon, vanilla and cedar wood. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with layers of ripe cherry, blackberry and plum, complemented by earthy undertones. This wine showcases a great balance of fragrant aromas, ripe fruit flavors and subtle tannins, creating a long, smooth and satisfying finish. Made from a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano grapes, Finca Allende Rioja Tinto is a perfect accompaniment to grilled meats or hearty stews.

About the Winery

Finca Allende

Finca Allende is housed in a historic manor from the 17th century and is situated in a mediaeval town square in the centre of Rioja Alta. It was established in 1986 by Miguel ngel de Gregorio in the hilly town of Briones. When he came to the town, he found the special terroir that allowed him to produce the wines of his dreams. Allende's concept, which may be loosely interpreted as "further," is to make more efforts to produce the ideal Rioja. Miguel ngel is one of Rioja Alta's most renowned winemakers and a genius in crafting world-class estate-grown wines because of his real commitment to organic agriculture and maintaining the region's authenticity.
