Pale straw colour. Aroma- Intense and pure aromas of fresh passionfruit, and ripe citrus. Notes of dried herbs, mandarin peel and fresh floral notes give intensity to the aromatics. Palate - Powerful, tight and elegant. This wine displays intense ripe fruit flavours of passionfruit and white peach, and tropical fruits with fresh citrus and citrus peel. Product Notes

Auntsfield Estate Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is a New Zealand wine with a unique character that distinguishes it from other wines in its category. The grapes are harvested from a specific parcel of the vineyard that contains the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vines in Marlborough. The wine has a bright and clear appearance with hints of lemon and lime on the nose. The palate is intense and fruity with passion fruit and gooseberry flavors that are perfectly balanced with the acidity. It has a long, crisp finish that leaves a refreshing feeling in the mouth, making it an ideal accompaniment to light dishes, salads, and seafood. This wine is a must-try for lovers of Sauvignon Blanc who appreciate premium quality and distinctive flavors.

About the Winery

Auntsfield Estate

Established in 1873, Auntsfield Estate was a venture of David Herd. David was a person with an active imagination and a love for wine. This aspect of his nature and personality led him to become the founding winemaker in Marlborough. Today, the region receives fame and reputation as one of the best for winemaking worldwide. Initially, it was David who realised and recognised that potential. He discerned the nature of the soil, weather, and landscape of the area. Finally, he concluded that they were perfect for growing grapevines and producing wines. He made his dream come true through Auntsfield Estate.
