Tasting Note

Pale lemon in colour, this crisp wine displays classic green apple and aromatic lemon notes. On the palate, it has a zesty acidity and a slight saline spritz that carries through to a bright and fresh finish.

Product Notes

Bodega Agerre Txakoli is a vibrant and crisp white wine hailing from the Basque region of Spain. Made from the indigenous Hondarrabi Zuri grape, this refreshing pour is bursting with notes of citrus, green apple, and a hint of salinity, making it the perfect accompaniment to fresh seafood or tapas. With a light body and zesty acidity, Bodega Agerre Txakoli is best enjoyed chilled on a hot summer day, either on its own or paired with light dishes. Its dry finish and balanced flavors make it a versatile and lively choice for any occasion, capturing the essence of the Basque countryside in every sip.

About the Winery

Bodega Agerre is a family-owned winery in the heart of the Getariako Txakolina DO, overlooking the medieval fishing village of Getaria on Spain's Basque coast, just a short drive from San Sebastián. Owned by the Ostolaza family, the estate has been producing Txakoli for three generations, with Emilio Agerre continuing the family's winemaking tradition. The 15-hectare vineyard is dedicated primarily to the indigenous Hondarrabi Zuri grape, the cornerstone of the region's distinctive white wines.
