Tasting Note

Delectable and decidedly modern super-Tuscan: Aromatic and savoury, full of spice and Morello cherry held in place by fine, firm tannins.

Product Notes

Brancaia Il Blu is a luxurious and sophisticated red wine from Tuscany, Italy. Made from a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this wine exudes elegance and complexity. The nose is filled with aromas of dark fruits, spice, and a hint of floral notes. On the palate, rich flavors of black cherry, plum, and tobacco are complemented by velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish. Brancaia Il Blu is a well-balanced wine with a smooth texture and excellent aging potential. It pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, hearty pasta dishes, and aged cheeses. Experience the beauty of Tuscany with every sip of Brancaia Il Blu.

About the Winery

Brancaia

Brancaia is a renowned Tuscan wine estate located in the heart of Chianti Classico, with properties in Castellina and Radda in Chianti between Florence and Siena, as well as a coastal estate in the Maremma near Grosseto. The winery was founded in 1981 by Swiss couple Brigitte Widmer and Bruno Widmer, who purchased and restored a neglected Tuscan property with the ambition of producing top-quality Chianti Classico. Early critical success quickly established Brancaia as a rising star in the region.
