Product Notes

Castell`in Villa Chianti Classico Riserva is a red wine made from Sangiovese grapes grown in the Chianti region of Tuscany, Italy. This wine is aged for a minimum of two years before being released, and it features a rich, full-bodied flavor profile with notes of dark fruit, chocolate, and spice. Its tannins are firm yet well-integrated, contributing to a smooth and elegant mouthfeel. This wine is perfect for pairing with hearty Italian dishes, such as pasta with meat sauce or grilled steak. It is also well-suited for aging, with potential to develop even greater complexity over the years. Overall, Castell`in Villa Chianti Classico Riserva is a top-notch expression of Tuscan winemaking tradition.

About the Winery

Castell`in Villa

Castell'in Villa is an 11th-century hamlet that was part of the community in the Sienese district. The medieval stone tower found in Castell'in Villa was the home of Princess Coralia Pignatelli della Leonessa. The medieval chapel located close to the central tower allows the visitor to glimpse the medieval structure and the art it houses. The art in the Castell includes a 12th-century bronze crucifix, temporarily held in the Castelnuovo Berardenga, that dates back to the mid-12th century.
