Product Notes

Château Viranel Trilogie Rouge is a premium red wine that is produced in the Languedoc region of France. A blend of three classic grape varieties, this wine is made using Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache. It is aged for over a year in oak barrels to create a complex and refined taste, which is characterized by notes of dark fruit, spice and a subtle hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-balanced with velvety tannins, making it the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, stews and strong cheeses. Château Viranel Trilogie Rouge is a must-try for red wine lovers who appreciate the art of wine-making.

Nose: very persistant red fruit notes.

Palate: 1st taste fresh and fruity the red fruit aromas leave place for licorice notes and stewed prunes. The end shows these 3 varieties caliber, tannins present and fondant. A wine that is a pleasure to drink on all occasions.

About the Winery

Château Viranel

This estate, in the heart of the Saint-Chinian appellation, has been in the Bergasse family since the 16th Century. Two highly energetic and capable brothers Nicholas and Arnaud Bergasse, have now taken over full control of the winery from their father and have created an outstanding range of wines, taking this prestigious estate to a new level. The vineyards are situated on the limestone hills and ancient terraces overlooking the Vallée de l’Orb. Here the hot Mediterranean climate is tempered by the north wind – the Tramontane - from the mountains of the Cévennes. Cool nights help Viranel’s grapes ripen gently.
