Tasting Note

Citrus combining with crushed flowers and salty sea air. Maybe Takaki’s dry-farming providing these ethereal aromatics and then amplified to taste. Tannin but with freshness

Product Notes

Corofin Folium Vineyard Chardonnay is a wine that embodies the spirit of the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Its elegant and alluring character is reminiscent of the crisp, cool climate of the South Island, where the grapes are grown and harvested. The wine is fresh and invigorating, with aromas of stone fruit and citrus, followed by a palate of creamy vanilla and subtle oak notes. The acidity of this wine is perfectly balanced, providing a beautiful finish that leaves a lasting impression. Enjoy this wine with seafood, white meats, or creamy pasta dishes, and experience the magic of New Zealand in every sip.

About the Winery

Corofin

The story of Corofin remains closely knit with the history and ventures of the Paterson family. The two remain linked inextricably through the means of different and distinct places and people. The Corofin village located on the Fergus River in the county of Clare in Ireland served as the home and origin of Clifton House. It was the residence and home of Marcus Joseph Paterson. He lived there with his family before they immigrated to New Zealand.
