Product Notes

Domaine Coffinet-Duvernay Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Morgeot Les Grands Clos' is a luxurious French chardonnay that embodies the excellence of its region. The wine has a deep golden hue and aromas of ripe apple, peach, and apricot, with hints of almond and hazelnut. On the palate, it is round and opulent, with a creamy texture and a complex mix of fruit, mineral and oak flavors that combine to culminate in a long, full, and memorable finish.

This wine is made from grapes grown within the Morgeot Les Grands Clos vineyard, which is one of the most highly esteemed premier cru sites in Chassagne-Montrachet. It is produced by Domaine Coffinet-Duvernay, a family-run winery known for their exceptional wines that are the result of generations of expertise and meticulously tended vineyards. This wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and goes perfectly with seafood, poultry, or light pasta dishes.

About the Winery

Domaine Coffinet-Duvernay

The proprietorship of one part of the domain passed onto Laura Coffinet and the other part of her sister around the 1980s. Later, the former, with her husband Philippe Duvernay, came together to establish Domaine Coffinet-Duvernay. The couple started their winemaking journey and endeavour with no more than seven vineyards.
