The Domaine de la Janasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is a beautifully balanced and refreshing white wine from the esteemed Châteauneuf-du-Pape region in France. It is made from a blend of traditional grape varieties, including Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Clairette. The wine has a pale gold color with green hues and aromas of white flowers, apricot, and almond. On the palate, flavors of citrus and stone fruit are supported by a mineral backbone and bright acidity, leading to a long and vibrant finish. This wine is perfect to pair with a variety of dishes, including seafood, poultry, and light pasta dishes.

About the Winery

Domaine de la Janasse

Aime Salon’s father, a vine-grower, used to take his grapes to the cooperative for them to make wines. Aime wanted this to change. He wanted to grow grapes and create wines from them in his own label. This was why he returned from his military service in 1967, so that he could give wings to his dream. In 1973, he built his own cellar and named it Domaine de la Janasse. This was because Aime Salon’s family farm was located in the beautiful place of Courthezon in the La Janasse locality of France.
