Tasting Note
Dark ruby color. On the nose we have intense aromas of red fruit (blackcurrant), vanilla, and some roasted notes. The mouth is very fine, the tannins are well rounded and melted. Long and silky finish.
Product Notes
Domaine du Monteillet is an exquisite winery situated in the Côte-Rôtie region of the northern Rhône valley of France. Their Côte-Rôtie Fortis is a bold and complex red wine made from a blend of Syrah and Viognier grapes. The wine is aged for 24 months in new oak barrels, lending it a subtle but distinct smokiness. Its aroma is rich with blackberry, black cherry, and earthy undertones, leading to a flavor that is full-bodied and well-structured, with notes of dark fruit and a hint of spice. This wine is perfect for those who have a refined palate and appreciate the finesse of a well-crafted wine.
