Rich dark fruit aroma with a touch of vanilla. Deep and firm and dry, the tannins really smooth but more like paper than silk. Chalky finish. Young and hidden. Cool, long finish

Product Notes

Domaine Pierre Damoy Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru is a classic and refined wine from Burgundy in France. This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes, which are carefully selected and blended to create a mature and complex flavor that is characteristic of the region. It is aged in oak barrels to enhance its smoky, woody notes and give it a rich, full-bodied texture. This wine has a deep garnet color, with a bouquet of plums, cherries, and blackcurrants. On the palate, it is full and well-structured, with fine tannins and a long, smooth finish. This wine is perfect for pairing with red meat dishes, game, and strong cheeses. It is a true masterpiece of French winemaking.

About the Winery

Domaine Pierre Damoy

Located in one of the world’s premium wine-producing regions of Burgundy in France, Domaine Pierre Damoy had its share of glory in the 1950s and 1960s. During this time, this estate was one of the most prestigious and popular of all estates in Gevrey Chambertin, a village in Burgundy’s Cote d’Or. During those days, this village had quite a few underachievers in terms of wine production. Domaine Pierre Damoy was one of them. Like other estates in this village, this Domaine also produced red wines with a firmer body and more tannin than other red wines produced in Burgundy.
