Tasting Note

A superbly elegant wine, with complex yet vibrant notes of peach, apricot, golden apple, lemon peel, blanched almond and meadow flowers. Upon taking a sip, the first impression is of well-rounded, supple texture, offset by fine crispness and a creamy mousse. The lingering impression reflects the nose: citrus, apple, almond. Very refreshing, long finish.

Product Notes

Gramona La Cuvee Aliances is a sparkling wine from the prestigious Penedès region in Catalonia, Spain. Made predominantly from the native grape varieties of Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada, this Cava is a true expression of its terroir. With a brilliant pale straw color and fine, persistent bubbles, it offers delicate aromas of white flowers, citrus fruit, and toasted brioche. On the palate, it is fresh and crisp, with a perfect balance between acidity and sweetness. This elegant and complex wine is versatile and can be enjoyed as an aperitif or paired with a variety of seafood dishes. Gramona La Cuvee Aliances is a true celebration of the vibrant and diverse flavors of Catalonia.

About the Winery

Gramona

Gramona is one of Spain’s most respected sparkling wine producers, located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia in the heart of Catalonia’s Penedès region, just south of Barcelona. Family-owned since the mid-19th century, the estate traces its roots to Josep Batlle, with the Gramona name established in the early 20th century through the union of the Batlle and Gramona families. Today, the fifth generation—Jaume and Xavier Gramona—leads the winery, with the next generation now actively involved in shaping its future.
