About Gramona

Gramona is one of Spain’s most respected sparkling wine producers, located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia in the heart of Catalonia’s Penedès region, just south of Barcelona. Family-owned since the mid-19th century, the estate traces its roots to Josep Batlle, with the Gramona name established in the early 20th century through the union of the Batlle and Gramona families. Today, the fifth generation—Jaume and Xavier Gramona—leads the winery, with the next generation now actively involved in shaping its future.

The estate farms 72 hectares of its own vineyards and works closely with trusted growers across nearly 300 hectares. All viticulture follows certified organic and biodynamic principles, reflecting the family’s long-term commitment to sustainability and soil health.

Gramona is internationally renowned for its long-aged sparkling wines, produced under the Corpinnat designation, which the family co-founded in 2019 as a guarantee of origin, quality, and craftsmanship. Iconic cuvées such as Imperial, III Lustros, Celler Batlle, and the prestige Enoteca exemplify the house style: elegant, complex, and built for longevity. Alongside these, Gramona also produces distinctive still wines, including the aromatic Gessamí and varietal expressions of Xarel·lo.

With over 140 years of winemaking heritage, Gramona continues to combine tradition, innovation, and respect for the land in every bottle.
