Tasting Note

Sweet tobacco, dried herb, mint and dried red cherry notes are all laced together in this decidedly savoury wine. Delicate and lithe on the palate, open-knit and gracious, Bilaccio is a good example of Il Borgetto's distinctive house style.

Product Notes

Il Borghetto Bilaccio wine is a luxurious and sophisticated Italian red wine that is crafted with care and precision. Made from the finest Sangiovese grapes grown in the heart of Tuscany, this wine boasts a rich and complex flavor profile. Deep ruby in color, it exudes aromas of dark berries, dried herbs, and hints of vanilla. On the palate, flavors of cherry, plum, and spice unfold, with a velvety smooth texture and well-integrated tannins. Perfect for pairing with hearty Italian dishes or enjoying on its own, Il Borghetto Bilaccio wine is sure to impress even the most discerning wine connoisseurs.

About the Winery

Il Borghetto

Il Borghetto is a small, artisanal winery located in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, within the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany. The estate was founded in the early 2000s by Antonio Cavallino and his family, who envisioned creating wines that express authenticity, purity, and a deep sense of place. From the beginning, the focus has been on low-intervention, terroir-driven winemaking, emphasizing the individuality of each vineyard parcel rather than conforming to traditional appellation norms.
