Tasting Note

Beautiful purity of limes and ripe gooseberry, with tropical, floral and fine herbal notes, ruby grapefruit and white pear drop on the finish. This is cool climate Sauvignon Blanc – vibrant, mineral, elegant, balanced and delicate, with a long, layered and complex finish.

Product Notes

Iona Wild Ferment Sauvignon Blanc is a distinctive South African white wine from the cool Elgin Valley. Made using naturally occurring wild yeasts, it offers an expressive, textured style that reflects its origin. Aromas of citrus, ripe stone fruit, and fresh herbs lead into a palate with crisp acidity and a subtle mineral character. Fermentation and maturation in oak add complexity and a gentle creamy texture without overwhelming the fruit. Fresh yet layered, it pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, roast chicken, creamy cheeses, or herb based dishes. Enjoy it lightly chilled to appreciate its balance, depth, and lingering, refreshing finish.
