Tasting Note

Appearance: deep ruby colour. Nose: redcurrant, leather, red crushed berries with a hint of toffee, incense and curry. Palate: this is a powerful and generous wine expressing itself with delicacy thanks to a very delicate tannic structure. Intense flavors of ripe fruits and spices combined to a fine acidity – a hyphen between richness and strength reflecting perfectly the terroir of Heathcote

Product Notes

M. Chapoutier – Domaine Tournon Lady's Lane Vineyard Shiraz is an exceptional wine that represents the best of Australian Shiraz. This wine is crafted with perfection and expertise by Michel Chapoutier, one of France's foremost winemakers. The Lady's Lane Vineyard is located in the Pyrenees region of Victoria, Australia, a unique terroir that provides the perfect soil and climate conditions for growing the finest Shiraz grapes. The result is a bold wine with dark fruit flavors, spice, and complexity that went through handpicked, destemmed into open fermenters, and matured in French oak barrels. It is an excellent option for those who appreciate outstanding wine quality at its finest.

About the Winery

M. Chapoutier - Domaine Tournon

M Chapoutier company cannot be mentioned without touching on 1808. This is where the journey began. This was over 2 centuries ago when Calvet et Compagnie was created. The premises were handed over to Octave Calvet and Frederic Vogelgesang and the two were partners up to 1878. Rodolphe Delepine bought the company in 1883 and in 1897, he joined forces with Marius Chapoutier to set up a company called Delepine et Chapoutier where they exported wines to Germany, Switzerland, and Holland.
