Tasting Note

This Barolo is traditional in style yet fresh, structured and accessible. The grapes come from different subzones in Serralunga, resulting in a wine with a broad and variable spectrum of aromas, ranging from tempting spicy notes to sweet, more floral and fruity notes. Robust tannins and acidity are balanced by the fragrant fruit character of the Nebbiolo.

Product Notes

Massolino Barolo `Margheria` hails from the heart of Barolo in the Piedmont region of Italy. This wine is created from Nebbiolo grapes harvested from the Margheria vineyard, which boasts some of the area's highest altitude and prime southeastern exposure. Its rich garnet hue, complex bouquet of red fruit, spices, and flowers, and well-structured tannins display the quintessential characteristics of a great Barolo. The wine's aging process for 26 months in traditional Slavonian oak barrels and another 12 months in the bottle further refine its robust nature, making it an ideal pairing for hearty dishes like braised beef, stews, and roasts. With its superior quality, Massolino Barolo `Margheria` is a must-try for any wine aficionado.

About the Winery
