Product Notes

Renato Ratti Barolo DOCG Rocche is a luxurious and premium red wine from the Piedmont region in Italy. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, this wine is aged for 30 months in French oak barrels and then an additional 12 months in the bottle. The result is a full-bodied, well-structured wine with a deep ruby red color and intense aromas of roses, dried berries, spices, and tobacco. On the palate, Renato Ratti Barolo DOCG Rocche is rich and complex, with flavors of dark cherries, plums, licorice, and an elegant hint of vanilla. It has a long, persistent finish making it a perfect match for hearty dishes such as roast beef, game, and mature cheeses.

About the Winery

Renato Ratti

Half way up a hill overlooking the main Barolo valley lies the Abbey of the Annunziata - Our Lady of the Annunciation - a priceless jewel of the 15th Century. Just as the friars of centuries past produced wines from the grapes grown along the hollow below the abbey, the area still produces wines of incomparable quality thanks to the respectful, yet innovative winemaking philosophy of Renato Ratti - a tradition that still lives on today thanks to the passion and commitment of his son Pietro.
