Tasting Note

A blend of Pinot Noir from 3 distinct areas. Monterey grapes provide dark fruit and much of the texture and structure. Fruit from Sonoma adds bright cherry and strawberry flavours whilst Santa Barbara contributes bright red fruit and Christmas spice. A tailored approach to fermentation and ageing ensure complexity and finesse through silky tannins and notes of toasty mocha.

Product Notes

Meiomi Pinot Noir is a luxurious and beautifully balanced wine with a rich and velvety texture. This exquisite red wine is a blend of grapes from the cool-climate regions of Sonoma, Monterey, and Santa Barbara counties in California, resulting in a complex and layered flavor profile. Bursting with aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and vanilla, this Pinot Noir offers a smooth and elegant finish with hints of earthy notes and a touch of spice. Perfect for pairing with a variety of dishes, Meiomi Pinot Noir is a versatile and decadent wine that is sure to impress even the most discerning palates.

About the Winery

Meiomi

Meiomi is one of California’s most successful modern wine brands, created in 2006 by fifth-generation winemaker Joe Wagner, a member of the renowned Wagner family behind Caymus Vineyards. The name “Meiomi,” meaning “coast” in the Wappo language, reflects the brand’s philosophy of sourcing fruit from California’s premier coastal wine regions—Sonoma, Monterey and Santa Barbara—to create consistently rich, balanced wines. Wagner built the brand around a distinctive multi-appellation Pinot Noir, which quickly became America’s best-selling Pinot Noir. In 2015, the brand was sold to Constellation Brands for US$315 million, and in 2025 ownership transferred to The Wine Group, where it remains today.
