Product Notes

Mount Langi Ghiran is a renowned Australian winery located in Victoria's Grampians region. One of their standout wines is the Talus Shiraz, which is a deep and complex red wine made from carefully selected Shiraz grapes. The Talus Shiraz is a highly acclaimed wine that has been praised for its balance and finesse, as well as its bold and intense flavor profile. The wine boasts aromas of dark berry fruit, chocolate, and spice which are followed by a palate packed with plum and cherry flavors, laced with hints of cinnamon and other spices. This wine has a firm, tannic structure which makes it perfect for pairing with hearty dishes and rich, full-flavored cheeses.

About the Winery

Mount Langi Ghiran

Known for its iconic Shiraz grape varietal, Mount Langi Ghiran is regarded as one of the finest cool-climate wines of Australia. The land came to be known for its premium quality of Shiraz, during 1970, when the Fratin brothers from Italy (Don, Lino and Serge) planted their first vines on Mount Langi Ghiran.  In the subsequent years, separate blocks were allocated in this vineyard for other varietals too.
