Unmistakably Sauvignon in character, with striking citrus aromas and a hint of herbal lemon-grass on the nose. Green fig flavours on the palate are lifted by natural acidity and balanced by a firm, chalky texture. Delicious with freshly shucked oysters; sardines or mackerel grilled on open coals.

This South African white wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes and offers a well-balanced palate of tropical fruit, citrus, and herbaceous notes. The nose is full of passionfruit, guava, and grapefruit aromas with touches of light grassy elements. The wine has a zesty, long finish due to its natural acidity and a very subtle minerality, which complements its flavors. Mulderbosch Sauvignon Blanc is an excellent wine for anyone who loves a light, refreshing, and lively white wine, perfect for warm summer evenings.

About the Winery

Mulderbosch

Established in the year 1989, the South African wine brand of Mulderbosch was founded by Larry Jacobs. The Stellenbosch region in South Africa is one of the premium wine-producing destinations in the world. Mulderbosch wines are produced by the group’s own vineyards here and in the nearby coastal regions. Jacobs identified the potential of this place, even when the farm was in its underdeveloped stage.
